The Seeker's Promise

Matthew 7:7-11 (KJV) 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

God wants us to seek Him in our time of need. He’s there for us when we need Him in times of crisis. We may find ourselves in situations where only God can provide hope and take care of the need. God is a comforter. God is a healer. God is a deliverer. God is a friend. But, most importantly, God is The Savior. The greatest crisis anyone will ever face, is living a life away from God, lost. Only God can save a lost soul. 

God has made a promise to those that seek Him. If you seek God, with faith, and an open heart, you will find Him. It may not happen the way you expected, but God is always faithful to His word.    

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Isaiah 55:6 (KJV) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
